Man found dead ‘after playing video games’

ALOR SETAR: A 35-year-old broker was found dead inside his home, supposedly after playing video games.
A video games console was found in front of Liu Peng Han's body.
The body was discovered by Liu's uncle who went to check on him at about 8.30pm on Thursday.
The uncle, who declined to be named, said he went to the victim's house in Taman Sri Ampang here as the latter had promised to meet up with him.
“I called him at 5pm but he did not pick up the phone. I went to the house as I was worried about him,” he said.
“I went there with a few relatives. We looked through the window and saw Liu lying on the sofa in the living area,” he said.
He added that they called Liu's name several times but he did not respond. They then broke open the front door and found that Liu was already dead.
It is learnt that Liu sometimes stayed up late playing video games.
Kota Setar OCPD Asst Comm Adzaman Mohd Jan said the victim was alone at home as his younger brother had gone to Kuala Lumpur.
He said police had yet to determine the cause of death as they needed to wait for the full report.
He added that the victim's body had been claimed by his family yesterday evening.
