The repetition of any news makes people less sensitive about it.
For example, 156 people were killed in Syria today, but because this has been happening almost every day for the past 18 months, many people won't even blink at this gruesome number!
To overcome this phenomena, try to make it more personal and imagine it's happening to your loved ones. Keep them and all suffering Muslims in your Doaa, not once or twice, but in EVERY Sujoud!
